How to develop farms

Farms are one of the new features that SimCity3000 has, Here's the way to develop farms.

1.  Go to a place far away from your city center, zone a large tile of light industrial zones (8x8 or larger)

2. Give them power, but no need for water.

3. Farms need at least one side connected to roads, but don't surround them with roads all sides, otherwise dirty industries will appear.

4. That's all you need for a farm to appear.

Notes. Once your city grows, your farms may get polluted and factories may appear, if that happens then it's time to say goodbye to your farms, so always place your farms as far as possible. When you see factories developing next to your farms, bulldoze it and dezone the remaining zones which haven't develop into farms, then make the farms historical so your farms will stay there forever.

But historic zoning doesn't mean it won't become abandoned, when it does, make sure no pollution or other factors are buzzing your farms, and when conditions meet, your farmers will come back again.

Farms sometimes sinks your water deal too, because you can't connect water pipes to farms, and your neighbour may think you have not got any water and cancels the deal.
